On the 1st of October 2005 Quedgeley Community Trust signed an agreement with the Gloucestershire County Council to take over the running and management of Quedgeley Health and Fitness Club at Severn Vale Technology College. No commercial interest had been shown in the business after the previous owners had moved to Zimbabwe and the club would have closed which would have meant the school would have losta fully fitted fitness gym and dance studio, and the community of Quedgeley would have lost a much needed sports and recreational facility.
Since taking over Quedgeley Community Trust has already invested £22,000, profits generated from Quedgeley News Ltd, improving and updating the facilities. There are more plans in the pipeline for further improvements. Full details are listed below for gym, fitness classes, sports Hall and the new cardiac rehabilitation classes along with our prices.

free weight equipment.
We can provide fitness programs tailored to your individual needs.

Fitness Classes
We offer a range of classes for all levels of fitness. Our current timetable is shown below.

- Wednesday 6.30-7.20pm Legs, Bums & Tums
- Wednesday 7.30-8.20pm Step & Tone

- Thursday 6.30-7.30pm Aerobics

- Sunday 11.00-12.00am Legs, Bums & Tum
Sports and Activites
At the weekend the sports hall is available for hire for a number of activities.
Also, throughout the summer the tennis courts
can be hired at weekends and evenings.We are also the venue for other activities such as Kickboxing, Tae Kwon-Do and dance classes. Please call for more details.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Classes
Quedgeley Health & Fitness Club is now offering Cardiac Rehabilitation on their exercise timetable.
Do you have Angina or have you had a Heart Attack, Heart Bypass Surgery or an Angioplasty?
If so, then why not join us for our weekly exercise sessions taught in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere by our fully qualified instructor. We also welcome family and friends to participate in the exercise sessions.
Classes run every Thursday from 17:15 – 18:30 and cost £3.50 per session.
